Time management is the success in studies for students. Time management is nothing but allocating the time for “to do works”. If we divide the time for doing the work correctly, we can gain time. It reduces anxiety, stress and tension. We will be motivated and initiated automatically.
First, divide the works according to priority .Frame a “work priority list”. Then divide the time for self maintenance, study, entertainment, rest, sleep and other works. The work should be ordered in three ways. First the works to be urgently done should be put at the top most. Secondly, the works with less urgent should be put in the next step. Last thing is the works that may be done leisurely.
If a new work comes unexpectedly, we have to put it in the priority list first. Then it can be done according to priority. Then only no work will be in pending. Pending of works cause stress. To avoid stress the work should be done according to priority. And we should be conscious in completing the works properly.
Relating to self maintenance, the students be careful in having food, rest and sleep. The students are not much aware of diet and rest. They should be made aware of not taking fast food. A student may not be attentive in school without a good breakfast and lunch. Watching television makes eyes tired. So avoid watching television. For relaxation, looking at green trees makes the eyes refresh. Students should sleep for seven hours per day which will make them active in studies on the next day.
Parents also should be conscious in the above things. They should watch their children whether they are taking proper food, rest and sleep.
